Corporate Theatre Workshop @ Amrita
Sorry for not having posted all these days….
I am very very happy, excited and tension free today!! My classmates and me had something exciting to do today.. It was the most exciting, happening CCR (Centre for Corporate Relations) hour that had never taken place for us till today.
We had something new and exciting to do – The Corporate Theatre.
It was basic fun. We all entered the CCR with a blank face, just knowing that there is something exciting called corporate theatre workshop going to happen for the next 3.5 hours……
Pchak,pchak,pchak,splash,spalsh,splash,bang,bang,…BANG”.. Just when you think you’ve just stepped into a kindergarten classroom, you realize you are looking at twenty somethings crawling on their knees, some make – believe elephants flanked by make- believe ears, making the weirdest kind of faces, hollering at the top of their voices….spirited enough to put even the noisiest and mischievous of 9-year olds to shame. Meet the “children ” of the Amrita School Engineering at “play” during the Corporate Theatre Workshop conducted by the dynamic and extremely talented Rajesh Sir and Shekar Sir at the CCR Room.
The theater workshop provided us with an unique platform where we could shed all inhibitions, behave in the goofiest, coolest manner possible and learn something in the process. Rajesh Sir and Shekar Sir who has had experienced similar workshops (and also conducted many such workshops) urged us to let go of our personalities and our self-consciousness as only then can we be truly open to people and ideas around us. Through activities like producing and presenting plays and tableaux we were made to realise how a team not withstanding the diversity of its team members, when focused on a common goal brainstorm for ideas delegate and assume roles and work single-mindedly and in unison towards the creation of a uniquely creative work of art.
It was a wonderful and fun filled experience…..
ps: I will upload the images shortly…
